When is a game more than just a game? We offer developmental and instructional team sports for kids in Grades K-8. The Upward Sports Staff at Redland Baptist Church desire to change this generation.

Evaluations
Every child participating in the Upward program must attend one evaluation. Players skills are evaluated and scored. These scores are used to assign players to a division/team.
Evaluations for players will take place at the Recreation and Outreach Center, “the ROC” as follows:
Monday, October 22, 5:00-7:30 pm
Tuesday, October 23, 5:00-7:30 pm
Thursday, October 25, 5:00-7:30 pm
Evaluation Scrimmage for grades 4-8: Saturday, October 28
Upward Parent Meetings
Tuesday, October 30 at 7pm in the Sanctuary
Thursday, November 1 at 7pm in the Sanctuary
All parents of Upward basketball and cheer participants should attend one of these two meetings. Discussion will be about the format of the league’s activities, calendar, expectations of participants, parents, and staffers, and other pertinent information. Please choose one of these meetings to attend and learn all you need to make being a part of the league this season a fun, wonderful time for all.
Practices and Games
Practices begin the week of Monday, December 3, 2018.
Practice nights are Monday, Tuesday or Thursday Nights in the ROC or at a local Elementary School.
The first games will be Friday, January 11, 2019. GAME SCHEDULE (not yet available)
Season Celebration on Saturday, March 9, 2019.
(If there are inclement weather cancellations, practices and games will go one more week out through March 16, 2019).

The Basketball Program
The program registration fee is:
$80 per child grade K-4
